Review
Fonts++ is a free program for managing and organizing your TrueType fonts easily. The program will examine your Windows Fonts folder and add all TrueType fonts to its own "All TrueType Fonts" list. For your convenience, you can create a group called "My Favorite Fonts", and choose which fonts you want to include in it. This way, you will not need to always browse through hundreds of fonts looking for the ones you actually use.
In many aspects, this program is intended to replace the Font Manager included in Windows. It can show you a list of all your installed TrueType fonts, along with a character map and a chart containing some information on the selected font, such as its name, PostScript name, family, style, version, type, and file size. While viewing the character map, you can browse the window to view every character that you can obtain by pressing each key. The program will also show you which keystroke or hot-key corresponds to each symbol. You can also copy any character to the clipboard, in order to use it in another application. |
